Newborn sessions are held in my studio, conveniently located just 5 minutes off Highway 99 in North Modesto, Monday through Friday. The studio is fully stocked with thousands of props and wardrobe options to create timeless, custom portraits of your little one at this fleeting stage of life. Parents don’t need to bring anything—other than occasional diaper changes or feedings. You won’t have to worry about cleanup or creating space in your home; I provide everything needed for a smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable session, including a relaxing area for family as well as coffee and snacks.
As one of Modesto’s top newborn photographers, I have photographed over 500 newborn sessions as of 2026, giving me extensive experience soothing even the fussiest babies and safely posing them. I am certified, insured, and fully vaccinated, including COVID boosters, flu shots, and Tdap.
Every session is custom-designed to reflect your family’s personal style. After completing a short questionnaire and discussing color palettes and prop preferences, I create a session styled to complement your home and aesthetic. With an extensive collection of props and outfits, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from, ensuring portraits that are cohesive and gallery-ready.
Prior to your session, clients receive a comprehensive client guide outlining the workflow for the day, answering common questions, and helping you feel fully prepared.

To secure your preferred date, I highly recommend booking before your baby arrives, ideally during your second trimester. While a limited number of last-minute sessions may be available each month, they fill quickly.

Keepsake Newborn Sesion – Session Fee $700 (Baby Only)
Keepsake Newborn Sessions are designed to capture the beauty and innocence of your baby’s first days. These sessions are approximately 90 minutes and are baby-only, including swaddled, unswaddled, and outfit poses. This session is available for babies up to 4 weeks of age.
Each session includes 6 unique set-ups, each styled with its own custom color scheme. A wide variety of wraps, headbands, bonnets, hats, and small accessories are provided to create timeless, polished portraits. Parent hands may be included for delicate detail shots (hands on feet, etc.), but full-frame family images are not part of this session.
This session includes 15 fully retouched, high-resolution digital images and a $50 print shop credit to create professional-quality prints and printed products within your gallery shop. Twins can be included for an additional $75.
A $200 retainer is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable, with the remaining balance due on the day of your session. Session fees and packages are fixed. Print shop credit must be used within 60 days of gallery delivery. Additional images will be available for purchase during the proofing process.
Mommy’s Choice Newborn Session – Session Fee $900 (Family Inclusive Package)
The Mommy’s Choice Session is a 2.5-hour, fully curated newborn experience designed to include baby, parents, and siblings in a variety of elegant, timeless portraits. This session includes swaddled, unswaddled, and outfit poses and is available for babies up to 4 weeks of age.
This session features 8 unique set-ups, each styled with a custom color scheme. A wide selection of wraps, headbands, bonnets, hats, and small accessories are included, as well as a large family backdrop for parent and sibling portraits. Backdrop colors are available in a variety of options, with beige and grey being the most popular. Floor set-ups are also available to safely include younger siblings who may not yet be ready to hold the baby.
The Mommy’s Choice Session is limited to immediate family (parents and siblings only). Moms have access to my extensive client closet if they wish to include a gown for the session. A small closet is available for girls as well. No outfit changes are provided for the family portion of the session.
This session includes 20 fully retouched, high-resolution digital images and a $50 print shop credit for professional-quality prints and printed products within your gallery shop. Twins can be included for an additional $100.

Legacy Newborn Session – Session Fee $1600 (All inclusive package)
The Legacy Newborn Session is my all-inclusive, luxury newborn experience, designed to capture your baby and family in timeless, heirloom-quality portraits. This session includes immediate and extended family (parents, siblings, and even grandparents!), a custom slideshow, a $200 print shop credit for professional-quality prints and products within your gallery shop, and all digital images—no need to choose favorites, you’ll receive them all. This session is ideal for babies up to 4 weeks of age.
Each Legacy Newborn Session lasts between 3 & 4 hours and includes swaddled, unswaddled, and outfit poses. Legacy sessions go through about 10 different baby set-ups. Every set-up is thoughtfully styled with its own custom color scheme, and a wide variety of wraps, headbands, bonnets, hats, and small accessories are provided.
The session includes backgrounds for parents to take portraits with their baby, a full family backdrop for parents, siblings, and grandparents, as well as set-ups to include siblings. Families also have access to my studio lifestyle area for intimate, lifestyle-inspired portraits with their little one.
Moms may use my extensive client closet for one outfit during the session, and the family portion includes two outfit changes if desired.
Twins may be included for an additional $150.
A retainer of $500 will be due upon booking and is non-refundable. Your retainer will go towards your session total. Your session fee includes the time and talents of the photographer, use of my fully stocked studio, session styling, all equipment, props and set design used during your session, a digital birth announcement, an heirloom album, slideshow and all digitals that meet the artistic standards of your photographer. Legacy sessions typically produce over 100 images. Session fees do not include prints or wall art. Petite Swaddled Newborn Session – $400
The Petite Newborn Session is a 45-minute, budget-friendly studio experience designed to capture timeless swaddled portraits of your little one. Babies remain fully swaddled throughout the session, and no unswaddled poses are included. This session is available for babies up to 6 weeks of age.
Each session includes 3 fully styled swaddled set-ups, complete with coordinated wraps, props, and backdrops. Family members are not included in this package.
This session includes 5 fully retouched, high-resolution digital images. Twins may be added for an additional $50.

THE PROCESS
Once you reach out, we’ll start by selecting the newborn session that best fits your family’s needs and vision. From there, we’ll plan your session in detail, including set-up choices, color palettes, props, and wardrobe styling. You’ll also receive guidance on how to prepare for the day and, if applicable, have access to my client closet for gowns or outfits.
On the day of your session, all you need to do is arrive and relax. I handle every detail—from safe posing and styling to soothing and settling your baby—so that the session is calm, smooth, and enjoyable. Family members are guided gently into poses for timeless, natural, and heartfelt portraits.
After your session, you’ll receive a proofing gallery where you can view your images and select your favorites, or in the case of all-inclusive sessions, receive all fully retouched digital images. Your final images are delivered with care, resulting in a refined, heirloom-quality gallery you and your family will treasure for a lifetime.
