Standard Portraits
Standard Newborn Portraits are portraits taken directly with my camera. Digital items and backdrops are not added to these portraits. The backdrops are real sets or fabric backdrops that your baby has been physically placed in. Standard portraits have full editing and retouching done in my unique style.
Fine Art Portraits
Fine Art Portraits are digitally enhanced portraits. These are composite images. Your baby is digitally removed from one of your standard portrait images and placed in a digital background. These images are often fantastical in nature. Babies are placed in digital sets that may not be safe in real life, but look beautiful when done digitally. Fine Art portraits are heavily edited. Each portrait is unique and can take hours to create. If there is a Fine Art Portrait you particularly love and would like to included in your package, be sure to let me know. I have very specific poses that I like to use for each portrait and will do my best to get that pose during your session. I do not offer guarantees on snagging any particular pose as my newborn sessions are baby led, meaning if your baby does not like the pose, we will not do it.
